Flashback from San Diego

Day 1, San Diego 2005

OK, here is the sunset sequence from my photos at La Jolla Cove. I don't quite see it ??? What are the indications of the green flsahes Where and when am I suppose to see green ?

It is supposed to be right after the last bit disappear at the horizon. I didn't catch it in photo
because I wanted to see it with my eyes. Got quite
close, though.

You see how the bottom of the sun is distorted?
It is an inversion of the image of the top.
Green flash is seen because we are right below
the inversion plane. You can see especially on
the last image where the sun does not seem to
set on the sea but slightly above. OK, I admit
that we don't have a great one that started with
an "Omega" sun. However, it is the best I have
seen since I heard his lecture and seen the simulation.

I see it now... I am pretty sure I did see green when you yelled, "Did you see green flashes ?"... I think....
