No.1 Ladies Detective: Books I read

I had this book with me for a long time. I finally finished reading it this time at San Diego. Another Mystery series I'd like to follow... I loved Mm Precious Ramotswe, who's earnest and enthusiastic about observing everything around her...

The Alchemist - A fable about following your dream: Books I read

For some reason, we (I) need to be reminded of such simple wisdom at every turn of the story. This is a nice little weekend read to go with the music from Don Quixote de la Mancha - 就是 唐吉軻德 的故事。

Reading Season: Books I read

I have been complaining about "FALL" being the most depressing and boring season of a year - No winter snow fun; No summer aquatic fun; No spring blossom fun... " What can one do to entertain themselves at this season?", I asked myself... So, I wondered aimlessly to "Barnes and Noble" and bought this book before I knew it...

When I got home, I was absolutely shocked with myself. Biology and Chemistry are the two subjects I hated the most; there are simply too many words/phrased to memorize... I also have to admit my personal prejudice against J. D. Watson. Every time when he claims to know "the secret of life", I just get driven off the wall - how arrogant!!! Combining these two reasons, I would characterize this book by Watson with this sort of title as possibly the least desirable read in the past...

However, having no better idea what else is more interesting to do, I found myself reading this book patiently... Somehow, it is easier for me to accept everything described here from an old man's point of view - "more humility", I thought. Or perhaps it's because "FALL" simply IS the best season to READ?! Oui, C'est Ca!
